The Taco Man

Alright guys, lets tacobout it. When I say “Taco Man” you’re probably thinking, where’s the party, dude? However, in this case The Taco Man is a tiny restaurant and catering service that has only been around for three years, located in the heart of Montclair, California.

The spot is located just below the 10 freeway and off of Central Ave. It’s one of those walk-up and order through a window then wait on the side patio to get the tacos, kind of places. The entire building and side patio/eating area is about as big as a two bedroom house. They had the area decorated for Halloween which made the ambiance even more enjoyable.

We decided to get a few carne asada and chicken Authentic tacos with the onions and cilantro for $1.69 each. Then we tried a couple Killer tacos which included the meat, onions, cilantro, cabbage, cheese, avocado sauce and sour cream.

The tacos were outstanding, the hot sauces they provided ranged from a mild, smoky medium, and a “holy cow what was that” sweet pineapple habanero hot sauce. I highly recommend The Taco Man to any passers-by. If you don’t believe me, just check them out on yelp.
